Dr. Anishur Rahman

An experimental PDRA working on the levitated tweezer based setups. Currently he is working on the combined centre of mass  and internal cooling schemes using levitated Yb3+:YLF nanoparticles.  In this regard, he is using parametric feedback cooling  to control the CM temperature while anti-Stokes fluorescence for controlling the internal temperature.  So far, we have reached mK CM temperature in silica nanospheres and 130 K internal temperature in Yb3+:YLF nanospheres.
